The neighbors admit that they cannot take it anymore, that they are afraid for their physical integrity. A neighbor throws excrement at her door, threatens them with a knife and insults them in a systematic way. It happens in Gran Canaria and some of the owners have already abandoned their homes as denounced by the program Get up to date, from Televisión Canaria.
In Arucas, where the building is located, they are astonished. They see themselves as “defenseless” before this woman, with psychiatric problems, who “day after day” does not stop torturing them. They have even installed a surveillance camera to record what is happening.
The aggressive neighbor denies all the accusations and so far, the neighbors have filed 12 complaints over the past four years with no response from the authorities. This type of situation shows that living in blocks of flats can be a true lottery and that it is necessary for the authorities to take measures to protect the residents and guarantee a peaceful and safe coexistence.
