The Ministry of Construction plans to complete work on the possibility of paying for housing and communal services (HCS) through the state information system (GIS) for housing and communal services in 2023. This was announced on Friday by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Irek Fayzullin.
“I think that in 2023 we will complete the work so that through the GIS it is possible to make all payments and control expenses, including for a specific house,” the minister said during a parliamentary dialogue in the Federation Council.
According to Fayzullin, the possibility is being worked out so that any citizen paying for an apartment can see all the expenses of organizations that are in the system. “All resource-supplying organizations of the country are in the system, all executive authorities are connected,” the minister explained.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved an action plan to modernize the state information system for housing and communal services.
GIS housing and communal services was launched in pilot mode on July 1, 2016. With its help, consumers can check the debt for housing and communal services, transfer meter readings, pay bills and check the license of the management company. Also in the system, you can learn about the news in the field of housing and communal services, get a certificate on programs for the overhaul of houses and resettlement from dilapidated and dilapidated housing, information on tariffs, benefits and subsidies. On April 30, 2021, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation is vested with all powers to approve regulatory legal acts regulating the work of the GIS housing and communal services.
