Ready to turn on your Cosmos? Cinépolis confirmed the premiere of the film through social networks live action of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac in theaters in Latin America. And everything seems to indicate that the launch could be simultaneous with respect to the date already announced for Japan.
The Polish Tomasz Baginskinominated for an Oscar for the short film katedra (2002), was in charge of directing the live action of Saint Seiya for Toei Animation and Stage 6 Films, from Sony Pictures. Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Avenue) co-wrote the final drafts of the script. Additionally, the creative team included Andy Cheng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
The main cast of the film is made up of: Mackenyu (Pacific Rim: Uprising) as Seiya; Madison Isemann (jumanji) as Sienna; Sean Bean (The Lord of the rings) as Alman Kiddo and Famke Janssen (X Men) as Guraad.

When will the premiere be? live action of Saint Seiya?
The Cinépolis Twitter accounts in countries such as Chile, Colombia, Peru and Panama confirmed the release of the film with a publication of the official poster. Although they did not provide an exact date, the tweet asks fans to stay “Watch out in April.”
The only confirmed international release date so far for the live action of Saint Seiya is precisely the next 28th of April in theaters in Japan. Will it arrive in Latin America that same week or will we know the official date until that month?

In an interview with VarietyJapanese producer Yoshi Ikezawa mentioned that they hope to turn this live-action Hollywood adaptation into a long-running franchise.
“We made this movie (live action of Saint Seiya) as a basis for making sequels. And we have already started discussions about it,” said the representative of Toei Animation. “We are thinking of a series of six films.”
