The countdown to the 95th edition of the Oscars has begun and, after a series of awards that have set the tone for the season, this gala will finally deliver its awards, the most important in Hollywood. There are already trends, of course, also clear favoritism, hard-fought disputes, and possible surprises. For this reason, here we analyze what can happen after 8 pm on Sunday the 12th.
Some very closed categories are those of Best Actor and Best Actress: in the first case, Brendan Fraser (for “The Whale”) and Austin Butler (for “Elvis”) fight side by side; In the second category, the rivalry goes through Cate Blanchett (star of “Tár”) and Michelle Yeoh (“Everything everywhere at the same time”).
