VIDEO. Ask that they paint their clothes if they have suffered violence and the reactions of women go viral

The Colombian youtuber Amara Pascagaza, better known as ‘Amara Que Linda’, in the commemorative framework of Women’s Day on March 8, carried out a viral initiative on social networks to make gender violence visible.

Through the digital platform of Instagram, ‘amara.aa’ the 19-year-old influencer, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, famous for her empathy with her millions of followers, shared the video where she asked women to they will dye their clothes if they have suffered violence.

During the audiovisual material, the young content creator was seen standing on the public highway, with a sign in her hands, dressed in white, and paint, so that they could mark her with the brush if at any time they have suffered some kind of violence.

On the poster it said: “If you suffered any type of violence, mark my clothes with the brush”, both physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, economic aggression, or whatever has happened.

Blindfolded, the first person who approached recognized the influencer, after painting a red heart, after greeting her, Amara, feeling the brush, told the woman, “Oh, sorry friend.”

While the female seen in the clip painted herself red, she noted, “I think we all go through moments like these, there are times when we normalize many people’s acts.”

This is because many women who have been assaulted do not go to file complaints, for fear that their attacker will retaliate, and they live with anguish.

A woman who was accompanied by her son, caught the attention of Internet users, because her voice was heard shaking, “I don’t know why, I wanted to cry, because I had the sensitivity that lady said or because we all suffered violence” , “the lady who walks with the child if she sounded sad”.
