At least three people were injured in a shooting near a cafe on Dizengoff Street in downtown Tel Aviv, reports The Jerusalem Post.
The victims were hospitalized, one of them is in critical condition after being wounded in the neck. According to Ynetvictims — three young people of 20 years.
In the Israeli police called incident of a terrorist attack, confirming the data on the victims. The department said police shot and killed the suspect in the attack.
In turn, the Tel Aviv police said they were looking for other possible attackers. According to The Jerusalem Post, two people with weapons are visible on the recordings of the incident.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is visiting Rome with his wife, was informed of the incident.
“There was a very serious event in Tel Aviv, a terrorist attack. On my own behalf, on behalf of my wife, I want to send wishes of recovery to the victims. Starting tonight, we will strengthen anti-terrorist security measures,” he said.
