The heat wave is generating complications in the teaching of classes. To the protest of students and parents for the lack of fans and requests for some measure to alleviate the discomfort, in different private schools they have reduced the school day until the suffocating time passes and in other cases they make an exception with clothing.
In the case of the Inmaculada school, and at the request of the parents of the primary and secondary students, the school informed the families that “given the alert situation due to a heat wave and the persistent high temperatures above the values usual, mindful of not having received any regulations in this regard from Education, and understanding your concern, due to the conditions in which classes are held, we will reduce from March 9 to 15, including the extension of the school day, the It will be from 7:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The classes corresponding to the schedule from 12 to 14, including Physical Education, will be taught through the Institutional Classroom.
Meanwhile, at the Euforión school they informed the parents that “the institution is taking all the measures of basic necessity to transit the heat in the best possible way. The high temperatures surpass the action of the artifacts found in the classrooms. All classrooms have a fan. A request was made to add fans where we believe it was necessary, as we also request that they supply more water cans for the dispensers” and added that “teachers will be asked to allow students constant hydration and that every hour, or when the students deem necessary they can wash their faces, hands and wet their heads. We reiterate the request that they bring their own bottles with ice water, fans or personal fans to help with the situation.
In turn, in the same school they enabled “the use of shorts and it is suggested that teachers look for a cooler place in the Institution in case the classrooms are not cool.”
A similar situation occurred in the Legion, the school of 13 and 60, where the directors offered to hold classes in the courtyard due to the impossibility of cooling the classrooms on days when temperatures exceed 30 degrees. This situation aroused a curious protest on the part of the students who made posters that they stuck in the address to demand different measures to cope with the situation.
Another school in which there are also claims from different students due to the non-functioning of the fans is the Italian school, of 44 between 17 and 18, where there are several fans that do not work correctly and at times the classes become difficult moments to bear. , according to the testimony of different parents of the educational establishment. In this school, the use of institutional shorts is allowed for days of intense heat.

According to the extended forecast, the high temperatures will continue until the middle of next week, with marks above 30 degrees, a situation that the National Weather Service defines as a red alert.
