With a lavish gala and full of movie stars, the United States Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPS) will celebrate this sunday the 95th Academy Awardswhich highlights the industry’s best films and artists of the past year.
The tapes that are emerging as the favorites to win the Oscar for best film are Everything Everywhere at the Same Timewhich recently picked up the Producers Guild Award; The Fabelmans Steven Spielberg, after his triumph at the Golden Globes; and No news at the frontby Edward Berger, which was crowned at the BAFTA Awards.
Other big-budget works also appear in the premier category, such as Top Gun: Maverickby Joseph Kosinski, and Avatar: the Path of Waterby James Cameron; and films with less commercial projection such as The triangle of sadnessby Ruben Östlund, or They sayfrom filmmaker Sarah Polley.
As every year, the ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theater in the city of Los Angeles (California, USA) and again, the event will be hosted by the actor and comedian Jimmy Kimmelwho already presented the awards in 2017 and 2018,

“Argentina, 1985” and the expectation of the third Oscar for the country
