GREAT NOVGOROD, March 9. /TASS/. The production and logistics complex “Pletyokha” with a total investment of about 4.5 billion rubles will appear on the territory of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Novgorodskaya”. This was reported to TASS on Thursday in the press service of the regional government.

“The complex will consist of category A + warehouses with an area of ​​​​about 110 thousand square meters and several factories for the production of frozen semi-finished products and confectionery, a fish shop, a furniture shop, an automotive shop, as well as a recycling center that the complex will produce,” noted in the press service.

They explained that the project is long-term, it is planned to be fully implemented in nine years. The design phase, as well as its expertise, should be completed in 2024. In March 2026, it is planned to launch the first warehouses with an area of ​​16 thousand square meters. m, as well as the entire infrastructure. The next stage will be the launch of the second stage and two factories for the production of semi-finished products and smoked fish.

“Depending on the commissioning of facilities, the number of jobs will change. At the initial stage, in 2026, it is planned to employ about a thousand people. When reaching full capacity, about 3 thousand people. Mostly these are employees with special education: drivers , order pickers, merchandisers, packers, mechanics with various specialties, dispatchers, etc. Naturally, these will be managers, production technologists, programmers, and so on, to keep the complex in full readiness 24/7,” the press service explained.

According to Andrey Nikitin, the governor of the Novgorod region, this is a big project that provides employment and development for the village of Pankovka, on the border of the Yermolinsky settlement, and is interesting from the point of view of the economic growth of the Novgorod region. By May this year, the company will become a resident of the Novgorodskaya SEZ.

The governor also proposed to supplement the decision: to instruct the Ministry of Transport of the region, together with the Novgorod region and Veliky Novgorod, to assess the sufficiency of the transport infrastructure and those road repair plans that are currently available.
