Since early this morning, the first protests have been held on the occasion of the March 8, with two demonstrations that have blocked the Meridiana in Trinitat Nova and the Diagonal in Cervantes Park in both directions of the march. The demonstrations have caused significant traffic delays, especially on Avenida Diagonal, which have lasted until 9:30 in the morning. The blockade has generated delays of up to 12 kilometers, as reported by the Catalan Transit Service (SCT).
During the protest, there were also scenes of tension when a driver ran over two protesters with her vehicle on Diagonal, in front of the RACC building. The impact caused the two women to be dragged for a few meters on top of the hood of the car. This has been the moment:

MINOR INJURY
One of the two protesters run over has been slightly injured. The Mossos d’Esquadra have identified the driver and will provide the information to the corresponding courts. During the incident, the car tried to break the cut, and at that moment some protesters blocked their way, resulting in being hit by the vehicle. After the hit, several protesters began to hit the car in protest.
According to reports from the Medical Emergency System (SEM), it was not necessary to transfer any protester to a hospital.
