González pointed out that “from 6:00 p.m., it will be known in which companies there will be a measure of force that will be carried out tomorrow, for not having paid salaries.”

During the negotiation meeting, the Association of Automotive Transport Entrepreneurs (Aetat), proposed to the representatives of UTA to pay 70 percent of the salary for the month of February, without the increase agreed last February.

In this sense, Jorge Berretta, vice president of the Aetat indicated that “they are not in a position to pay 100%, since they had received the national subsidy in the months of January and February.”

The businessman said that the subsidies are expected to arrive this week, both in January and February “to normalize the situation of the companies, because they are not only salaries, but we also pay daily supplies, AFIP and others,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Formosa section of the union of the Automotive Tramway Union (UTA) reported that the Crucero del Sur company, provider of the urban passenger transport service in the provincial city, “did not deposit the salaries corresponding to the month of February” and for For this reason, it was decided to initiate a measure of force that had been announced yesterday at the last minute.

Union sources indicated that “the strike will be for an indefinite period and until the company pays the salaries of all its workers.”

“We inform that on Tuesday, the colleagues of Crucero del Sur have not received the salaries corresponding to the month of February. For this reason, the board of directors and body of delegates have resolved to initiate the measure of force for this Wednesday, March 8 until All the workers have been paid,” the UTA announced in a statement.
