The film industry has accustomed us to the fact that it loves to create documentaries about outstanding figures from the world of sports. An excellent example can be used here, for example The Last Dance from Netflix. Soon, Leo Messi will join the group of heroes who can boast of “his own” series. In this case, however, we will encounter a slightly different visual form.
Sony’s Leo Messi Animation is Coming!
Leo Messi for years, it has been extremely successful not only in the sports arena, but also in the cultural and media arena. The status that the Argentine achieved after his December triumph at the World Cup in Qatar, made Sony immediately contact his surroundings. Of course, the Japanese company was not about giving the player a personalized PlayStation 5 or a new TV. It was the topic of conversation an offer to create an animated series about a 35-year-old soccer player.
Eventually, both sides came to an agreement, and The already approved production will focus on the entire life of Leo Messi, so its first episodes will revolve around the Argentine’s childhood and his first steps in professional football. According to Sony’s vision, the target group of the series is to be young people. Nevertheless, we can certainly say that this is a production that will really interest all football fans.
