Alexander Kokorin himself now lives and works outside of Russia. He is a striker for Fiorentina (a football club from Florence, Italy), but plays on loan for Aris, a club from Limassol, Cyprus.
In 2018, the whole country recognized the name of Kokorin in connection with a scandal in which another footballer, Pavel Mamaev, was also involved. Then a company of brawlers, which included football players, attacked people in a cafe, including an official of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Young people were arrested and tried. Alexander spent about a year in prison.
After his release, the football player made a scandalous statement in response to the question of whether he regrets what happened: “This is a great experience, a good school. I once said that every normal guy and man should serve time in order to get and feel such a school.
