The Ministry of Equality, led by Irene Montero, has launched a new campaign on the occasion of the Women’s Day to ask that issues such as female masturbation after the age of 60 and having sex during menstruation be discussed publicly. It is a one and a half minute video that starts with an overweight woman kissing a thinner boy entering a portal. At one point, the woman looks at the camera and says “In Spain, this is not talked about.”
“Not even that we turn off the light to do it,” continues the girl while undressing looking in the mirror. Next, an image appears of a mature woman masturbating with a female stimulation while a voice of off says “and we’re not talking about touching at 60 either.”
The next scene in the video takes place in a bathroom while a girl cleans her her menstrual cup bleeds. At that moment, a man appears and approaches her to kiss her, while she pulls down his pants.
In the video, produced by the Ogilvy Madrid agency, a couple made up of a woman with mobility problems also appears and it is said that “her pleasure” is not discussed, as well as various explicit sex scenes between various characters.
The video ends with the phrase: «But we are here, and now that you see us, let’s talk. For a sexual education for equality». The campaign also includes graphic pieces and for outdoors, as well as different radio spots and materials for social networks.
As published the Moncloa, the mkini campaign has among its objectives “to promote dialogue and conversation around sexuality, as well as the elimination of taboos and the commitment to sexual education as a way to achieve a more egalitarian society.” The video was presented this Wednesday at the Institutional Act of 8M organized by the Women’s Institute under the title #Este8MHablemos in which Irene Montero was interrupted by a group of young people who accused her of having “parasitized” feminism and questioned her about what a woman was. A question to which she did not know how to answer the minister.
It is not the first time that Irene Montero she is interrupted in one of her acts. Just a few days ago, she heard the same criticism at another meeting with women organized by the Ministry, the International Feminist Meeting. The minister was rebuked by a young woman who reminded her that “Being a woman is not a feeling.
