After home invasion - woman attacked: now ex-boyfriend arrested

On December 15, a woman (55) was the victim of a brutal robbery at her home in Stattegg (Graz-Umwelt district of Styria). Her partner at the time is said to have played an important role in this.

The 57-year-old Croatian was arrested by the police on Tuesday. He is suspected of passing information to his son about the premises on site and, more importantly, the amount of loot. This was part of the gang that carried out the robbery. The perpetrators were able to strike quickly and effectively based on the information. Among other things, they had an angle grinder with them, with which they could loosen a safe with jewelry and cash from the anchorage and take it with them. Not confessed The victim’s ex-partner did not confess. According to a police release, the electronic devices evaluated would incriminate him. Two weeks ago, the police struck the gang of perpetrators. Since then, five men have been in custody, and a 22-year-old Brazilian is still being sought. He was last resident in Leoben, but was able to go into hiding.
