A 19-year-old activist of the Civil Alliance of Russia movement was detained in Karelia. FSB accuses him of "sabotage on the railway"

FSB officers detained Nikita Klyunya, a member of the Civil Alliance of Russia social movement, in the Karelian city of Sortavala.

According to the head of the organization, Oleg Filatchev, on the night of March 8, he received a call from the special services and was informed that Klyunya was accused of “sabotage on the railway.” Now the activist is in a temporary detention facility in Petrozavodsk. He is previously charged with an article on the organization of a terrorist community and participation in it (article 205.4 READdepending on the severity, is punishable by imprisonment for up to 20 years).

“Just to understand the absurdity of the accusation… Nikita is 19 years old, very responsible, intelligent, a parishioner of the local Protestant church. When he first joined our team, he immediately expressed his desire to take part in the election of the head of his rural settlement. With all the characteristics, imagine him as a kind of “saboteur” … For this you need to be a person simply deprived of the ability to think logically and adequately, ”- writes Filatchev.

The “Civil Alliance of Russia” calls itself “a team of like-minded people, uniting young people who are not indifferent to the situation in our country.” “There are no external figures behind us, we are driven by the main thing – the desire to act for the benefit of Russia, which we want to see as an advanced European legal state,” says on the organization’s website.
