The two boys aboard the BMW that crashed into a tree in Motta di Livenza on Saturday night are still hospitalized in very serious conditions in Treviso and Mestre.
One struggles between life and death at the Ca’ Foncello hospital in Treviso, the other was transferred to the Mestre hospital on Sunday and underwent a very delicate neurosurgical operation. The conditions of the two boys who were on board the BMW 420 on Saturday night which crashed into a tree near the town of Motta di Livenza, in Veneto, are still very serious. They lost their lives in the accident Barbara Brotto17 years old, ed Eralda Spahillari19 years old, both died instantly due to the violence of the impact with a plane tree.
There were also aboard the powerful car DC, 18, and 19-year-old Mikele Tatani, Eralda’s fiance. He was the one driving the car; son of a family of Albanian origins, he had recently published photos on social networks with his partner in Paris, where the two had been on vacation.
Mikele also had a passion for football, a sport which however he had to leave due to back problems: “He’s always been a good boy, sociable and smiling, even the parents are very good people – the president of Asd Veneto Orientale, Massimo Comacchio commented to La Tribuna di Treviso – he played with the students last season, as goalkeeper, then due to physical problems he had to stop. We read about the incident and are shaken. One of my sons is a year older than him, they were in a team together. We’re rooting for him, he has to do it, he’s too young for things to go any other way.”

Mikele is still hospitalized in the Ca’ Foncello hospital and struggles between life and death; friend DC, on the other hand, is in Mestre and after a delicate head operation, the prognosis is still reserved.
The cause of the accident was most likely a risky overtaking at over 140 kilometers per hour on a road with a speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour.
