A pair of snow leopard cubs, known as a ‘ghost of the mountains’ for their ability to hide, were caught on video prowling the rocky side of a mountain in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. In the images these pups can be seen walking with great agility over the steep terrain, despite the slipperiness of the surface, to meet their mother, who rests in the shadow of a ledge.
It’s a mother with two cubs. Snow leopards are most adaptable to high & cold altitudes. They are known for their acrobatics including running on steep slopes and long jumps.The video was shot at Lahaul-Spiti, during last week. pic.twitter.com/QtSTUnen5S
