The operational headquarters of the Belgorod region responded to the appeal of the wife of the mobilized, who, along with his colleagues, was transferred to the self-proclaimed DPR and enrolled in an assault unit. A screenshot of the response of the operational headquarters was published by Astra.
It follows from the response of the authorities that the servicemen who wrote down the appeal are not related to territorial defense, as they claimed earlier, since they were called up for service as part of mobilization. In addition, the authorities stressed that this military unit had received the necessary military training.
The operational headquarters, commenting on the dispatch of those mobilized to the DPR, said that decisions on redeployment are made exclusively by the Russian Ministry of Defense, so the regional authorities are not involved in this.
The government of the Belgorod region informed the command of the military district, the military prosecutor’s office and the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation about the appeals of the relatives of the mobilized.
On March 6, a video message appeared on the network of those mobilized from the Belgorod region, who until the beginning of March were in the defense of the Belgorod region. They stated that they were transferred to the DPR, where they were immediately enrolled in an assault unit. After that, the military said, they were sent to “storm the villages” without training, reconnaissance and communications. According to them, the unit suffered losses, in connection with which the servicemen refused to follow the orders of commanders from the DPR.
Previously, a similar appeal was recorded by mobilized from the Irkutsk region. They also asked to be returned from the assault units to the defense. In addition, the servicemen reported that commanders from the DPR sent them to storm strongholds without any support, artillery, communications, sappers and intelligence.
Before them, the appeal was published by those mobilized from Tuva. They complained about beatings and threats from the military from the self-proclaimed DPR.
