Within the framework of the “More Health in your Club” program, which carries out free health controls for children and young people who do sports in La Plata neighborhood institutions, it was reported where the health post will be installed this week.
The conferences are aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 17 and include updating the vaccination schedule, dental check-ups, electrocardiograms and measurement of blood pressure, weight and height. They are promoted by the Community Health Secretariat, and in this sense the head of the area, Enrique Rifourcat, said that “prevention is fundamental”, while adding: “In addition to the general evaluation, family history of diseases is investigated. chronic or allergies to know how to act in case of possible symptoms”.
Until March 17, the program will take place in the Children’s Republic from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., where health personnel will receive young people who carry out activities in various neighborhood institutions. This week, the schedule began yesterday with members of the Victoria club and will continue today and tomorrow with members of Defense and Justice. Likewise, on Thursday the 9th it will be the turn of Pedro Benoit and on Friday the 10th that of Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.
From the Commune they stressed that in order to carry out the controls, those interested must attend with the health book, where the data collected in each medical examination will be recorded.
