The Ukrainian writer and journalist, who has lived in Vienna since 2011, will be a guest at the Steyrer Kulturhaus Röda on Friday, March 10 at 7.30 p.m. at the invitation of the Literaturschiff initiative. With her essays, Malyarchuk opens a window to understanding the unimaginable that is happening in Ukraine. The author, who won the Bachmann Prize in 2018, analyzes with razor sharpness what Russia’s warlike expansion policy has been doing to a country and its people for more than a decade. Winfried Kronsteiner moderates the book talk.
