A decision for medical reasons?

According to our information, it was for medical reasons that the investigating judge decided to grant this release with placement under judicial supervision. It is recalled that Pierre Palmade remains hospitalized. We are really witnessing a legal tussle. But concretely, he remains on his hospital bed.
In effect, the public prosecutor of Melun immediately appealed this decision. In other words, Pierre Palmade is still in pre-trial detentionat least for a few more days…
Pierre Palmade soon fixed on his fate
The case is now in the hands of the Paris Court of Appeal, which will once again rule on its fate this Friday, March 10, 2023.
“The first president of the court of appeal will decide whether or not the public prosecutor’s appeal is suspensive. That is to say, does the fact that he appealed the decision of the investigating judge suspends the decision to release Pierre Palmade, ”explained Florence Rouas, criminal lawyer.
Will Pierre Palmade be released under judicial supervision or will he be remanded in custody? The comedian will be fixed on his fate in the days to come.
For the moment, the actor is still hospitalized. After his stroke, which occurred on February 25, he was transferred to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital. But this Monday, March 6, 2023, our colleagues from BFM-TV reported that he had once again been transferred to another institution.
Indeed, Pierre Palmade would currently be at the Marie-Lannelongue hospital in Plessis-Robinson, in the Hauts-de-Seine in order to undergo a new operation. “The most likely, given the delay after his stroke, is carotid artery surgery. Following this operation, Pierre Palmade should return to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital, depending on his state of health…”, reported the neurologist Pierre Amarenco, at the microphone of BFM-TV.
As a reminder, the comedian provoked a terrible car accident last February 10. While driving under the influence of narcotics, the actor hit a car traveling in the opposite lane. An accident that claimed three serious victims, a pregnant woman who has since lost her baby, a father and his six-year-old son. All of them have seen their lives changed forever following this tragedy.
