Camilla recently had to cancel some public engagements due to Covid: however, she has now returned to work and accompanied the sovereign on a trip to Colchester. Here the couple met local associations, visited the ancient castle and even stopped for tea at the public library with a group of volunteers. At Colchester he wore a blue three-piece suit completed with a pale lilac tie that matched his pocket square. To protect herself from the cold, she chose a double-breasted herringbone coat, one of her favorite designs of him. His wife Camilla is no less in terms of sustainability: in Colchester she ‘recycled’ the white coat of Fiona Clarepairing it with black suede boots, matching gloves and a patterned scarf.

Camilla’s entire look is recycled, confirming the couple’s attention to spending and above all to the environment. In fact, to protect herself from the cold, the queen consort chose a furry hat lined with fur. It is one of her favorite models: she had already sported it in Canada, during a royal tour last year, and before that at Ascot, in November 2021. Since becoming queen consort, Camilla has made minimal changes to her wardrobe and could be confirmed as the ‘frugal’ queen one would expect alongside a champion of the environment.
