TVER, March 7. /TASS/. Charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed on roads leading to popular tourist destinations in the Tver region. The package of documents necessary for this was adopted on Tuesday, it provides for the reimbursement of part of the costs to companies for the creation of such infrastructure, the press service of the regional government said on Tuesday.
“At a meeting of the Government of the Tver Region, chaired by Governor Igor Rudeni, a package of documents was adopted aimed at developing infrastructure for charging electric vehicles in the region. The head of the region noted that, first of all, charging stations for electric vehicles should be installed on roads leading to popular attractions, on tourist areas of the region,” the statement said.
According to the press service, charging stations will also appear in Ostashkov, which is located on the southern coast of Lake Seliger, popular with tourists, the ancient town of Staritsa, the city of military glory Rzhev and others.
The signed package of documents includes business support. In particular, companies that will build charging stations will be reimbursed for part of the cost of purchasing equipment in the amount of 60% of the cost. Subsidies are also provided in the form of 30% of the costs to reimburse the costs of technical connection of charging infrastructure facilities.
As specified in the regional government, charging stations will be located at roadside multifunctional complexes or gas stations, as well as along the streets and in parking lots in cities. According to the technical requirements, the stations must operate around the clock, as well as have a parking lot designed for at least two electric vehicles. The power of each of them must be at least 149 kW.
