It was around 12:45 p.m. when the payment was reflected in the accounts of the unionized workers, and hours later, the payment of one of the two fortnights (the one in February) was reflected, which the trusted employees had pending.


Meanwhile Ismael Leija Escalante, Secretary General of the National Democratic Union of Mining, Metallurgical, Steel and Related Workers, confirmed to VANGUARDIA that the pro-strike payment will be delivered to workers of Section 147, who have already expired and the review of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

He said that the meeting will remain open, since there are no company executives with whom to negotiate the revision of the contract, however, the resistance fund will be given to the workers to help them in the precarious economic situation that they face. “Seeing the situation of the workers and since the contract expired, the assembly remains open, just having the resource ready, I don’t know how the situation is in the bank right now the people of the 147 are already in this ” he pointed out.
