A 49-year-old man was run over by an ATM bus around 8.30 today Tuesday 7 March between via Padova and Arici in Milan: he is in a coma in hospital.

Very serious accident between via Padova and Arici a Milan. From the first information a man of 49 years old was hit by a bus Atm around 8.30 today, Tuesday 7 March. Still to understand the exact dynamics of the facts but it would seem that the driver of the bus, of line 53 which was traveling in the direction of Sesto San Giovanni, did not notice the man and the impact was inevitable.
Rescue and transport to hospital in code red
An emergency call was immediately made. The driver and passers-by suffered rescue the man who fell to the ground. Once on site, the 118 doctors judged the man’s conditions despair so much so that he was found unconscious: he was on the spot intubated before being transported code red to the Niguarda hospital where he arrived in coma. Now the police are at work trying to reconstruct what happened, the testimony of passers-by will be essential to understand the exact dynamics.
Bus hits some parked cars
Exactly one year ago, in via Quaranta always in Milan another one Atm bus collided with some cars: the events had occurred around 1.30, at street number 41. According to what has been reconstructed, the bus had first hit a car that perhaps had not respected a precedence and then other parked cars, all while it was proceeding towards via Marco d’Agrate: after the impact, the bus ended up on the sidewalk and broke through the fence of a firm. Four the people involved, aged between 22 and 49 years: no one was injured in serious way.
