Jorge Martín Carneiro, the 46-year-old man accused as the perpetrator of the murder of the UNLP Journalism professor, Silvio Peroni (53), whom he stabbed to death during a robbery at his home in La Loma, which occurred on December 14 , refused to be investigated by Justice.
Carneiro had been transferred from Tucumán, and was staying in our city, where this Monday he had to give a statement before the prosecutor Martín Almirón.
According to the investigation in the case investigating Peroni’s death, “it was possible to determine that moments after the fact, the defendant fled to a second farm, where he held two adults as hostages, at time that he changed his clothes and stole various items from the place.”
In the same report they detailed that “from that address, he traveled on foot to the city of Ensenada, where he was captured by various public and private security cameras.”
However, despite all this probative material, which ended with the identification of who would be the apparent material author of the murder, the investigations could not locate him.
For this reason, through various procedures requested by prosecutor Almirón, they reached the province of Tucumán, where they verified the presence of the suspect.
The spokesmen mentioned that “he was staying at the second police station in the provincial capital, under another name, which he accredited with an apocryphal document.”
In Tucumán, apparently, he committed various crimes against property.
