The chairman of the Board of Directors of TAP, this Monday dismissed by the governmentaccuses the Government itself of having the “exclusive responsibility” in the case of the departure of Alexandra Reis from the company’s management.
In a statement shared via social network linkedinManuel Beja points out “problems of governance at the company”, stating that the manager’s departure “was approved by the shareholder”, which in this case is the State.
“From the moment this indication was given by the shareholder’s representative, in a matter that is the sole responsibility of the latter”, he explains, guaranteeing that he only gave a “sequel” to what was decided.
Manuel Beja was this Monday dismissed from the presidency of the Board of Directors of TAP “for just cause”, as announced by the Minister of Finance, Fernando Medina, who presented the report of the General Inspectorate of Finance on the case.
