A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of scamming women through a relationship app last Saturday, 4, in Avaré, in the interior of São Paulo. According to the police, he was located in a rented summer house, on Avenida do Progresso, in the Costa Azul neighborhood. Still according to the police, the arrest is of a preventive nature and was decreed on February 10. The investigated went through a custody hearing on the morning of Sunday, 5, and had preventive detention maintained. A team from the General Investigations Police Station of Jundiaí was monitoring the man and arrived in the municipality to carry out the arrest. The police seized cell phones and a laptop. The equipment was forwarded to the police station responsible for the investigation.
