The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, today led a meeting with more than 30 union representatives in which the joint agreement reached with the unions that represent Buenos Aires teachers and public administration workers was announced, it was officially reported .
The joint agreement will take effect in three stages -March, May and July-, averaging 40% in this last section, and contemplates resuming the meetings in August, it was recorded in an official statement.
Kicillof stressed that “based on the dialogue with all the unions, we continue on a path of salary recovery after years of abandonment and stigmatization.”
The meeting was held at the Government House, together with the Ministers of Labor, Walter Correa, and of Health, Nicolás Kreplak, and the General Director of Culture and Education, Alberto Sileoni.
Representatives of UPCN, Cicop, FEB, Suteba, Fegeppba, SSP, Udocba, ATE, Stigas, Ajamop, Sóeme, UDA, Sadop, ATE Ensenada, SOSBA, AMET and ACN participated in the event.
Also present, representing the Ministry of Labor, were the Chief of Staff, Cecilia Cecchini; the provincial director of Collective Bargaining, Juan Pablo Lorenzo, and the director of Provincial Collective Bargaining Management, Valeria Cortez, and for Treasury and Finance was the Undersecretary of Statistics and Economic Coordination, Nicolás Todesca.
