Whoever parks illegally a scooter rented you will receive one fine. For example, those who abandon the vehicle on the sidewalk, with consequent obstacle to pedestrian traffic, will receive a fine of 30 euros. This is one of the innovations introduced in Rome from Helbiz, one of the companies that offers scooters for hire to citizens and tourists in the capital. Furthermore, those who do not respect the rules of the road will be charged for all the costs relating to fines and removals for abandoned vehicles prohibited from parking.

The second novelty is the detection of 180 virtual and physical stalls where it will be possible to park up to a maximum of five scooters. Users will be able to continue to park even outside the stalls identified by paying an additional fee. According to what has been learned, the parking lots will be located near the underground stations, the main bus stops and the main stations of the capital. Finally, the operational area of the vehicles will also be extended to the peripheral districts of the city.
