Panama- Jose Daniel Mendoza Chiruwas condemned to turn off 30 years in prison for him crime of aggravated intentional homicideto the detriment of a 13 year old teenager of age, event occurred in June 2020the sector known as La Guaracha, located in Torrijos Cartercorregimiento of Belisario Frias, San Miguelito.
During the reading of the sentence, the judge also disclosed that Mendoza Chiru you will imposed an accessory penaltythrough which forbids carry firearms for the same term as the main penalty once the latter is fulfilled.
During the trial, Homicide prosecutors Manuel Pitti and Eyda Gallardo Castillo, from the Homicide and Femicide Section of the San Miguelito Regional Prosecutor’s Office, managed to accredit the criminal liability of Mendoza Chiru, through expert, testimonial and documentary evidence.
Based on the tests, the jury of conscience ruled a unanimous verdict of culpability against the sentenced.
According to the record of this case, the June 17, 2020the victim, who was in the main street of Torrijos Cartercorregimiento of Belisario Frías, when Mendoza Chirú appeared in the sector next to other subjects and the latter made multiple detonations towards a A group of people among whom were children and adolescents who stayed in place playing footballinjuring the victim, causing his death.
