This Monday, March 6, in the afternoon, a fire in a recycling factory, located on Los Visos street in Cajamarquilla, in the district of Lurigancho-Chosica.

As reported by Canal N, it would have been turned on by a short circuit. The Firefighters arrived in the area to put out the fire, although at the closing of this note the emergency had not yet been controlled.

What is sought is to prevent this fire from spreading to other factories located in the same area.

The commander of the Fire Department, Giovanni Jacome, mentioned that about 800 square meters would be compromised.

“It is an apparent recycling warehouse. It is being controlled on three fronts, with eight fire fighting units, ”he said.

Regarding the causes that caused this accident, he mentioned that it is a matter of investigation. “What is worrying now is that it could compromise homes on the north side of the fire. It is coordinating with Sedapal to raise the water pressure”.

So far no compromised people have been reported and there is only material damage.
