Unfortunately, since his birth, Maylone has multiplied hospital stays. It must be said that the little boy was born with esophageal atresia. A debilitating disease for him. Indeed, it is characterized in particular by the interruption of the continuity of the esophagus which then ends in a cul-de-sac. In other words, food or saliva cannot be brought to the stomach properly. But that’s not all. This malformation can also cause violent fits of coughing which very often turn into pneumonia.
The mother can’t take it anymore
And on Saturday, February 12, the heart of Jessica Thivenin was put to the test. Indeed, Maylone had to go to the operating room again. It must be said that the boy could not eat without vomiting. Thus, once again, the doctors announced to his parents that he was going to have to be operated on to enlarge his esophageal wall. Unfortunately, a few weeks after the operation, his state of health does not seem to improve. In tears, the mother of the family explained to seek comfort from other parents:
I can’t take it anymore, my son is just pushing, I’m exhausted. I’m just looking for comfort and not to feel alone.
