DOn Sunday March 5, the President of the United States Joe Biden claimed, in a tweet, that insulin suppliers, including the French company Sanofi, significantly reduce their prices on his soil. “Last year I signed the Inflation Reduction Act to cap the cost of insulin at $35 for seniors on Medicare (this only applies to those over 65, Ed), and I called on pharmaceutical companies to lower prices for everyone, ”wrote the tenant of the White House on the social network. The American laboratory “Eli Lilly did it, he continued. This is an important issue, and it is time for other manufacturers to follow”.
