Eintracht Frankfurt definitely wants to keep Oliver Glasner beyond 2024.
As the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” reports, Eintracht is pushing for an extension of Glasner’s contract, which expires in 2024. Accordingly, a contract was submitted to the Austrian to bind him “permanently as a project developer”.
According to the “FAZ”, Frankfurt wants to prevent a similar scenario with Glasner as with his predecessors Niko Kovac and Adi Hütter. After three seasons, both had decided to switch to a potentially more attractive Bundesliga club.
Glasner has been under contract as head coach at Eintracht Frankfurt since 2021. Last season he sensationally won the Europa League with the “Adlers”. In the current season, he reached the round of 16 of the Champions League with Frankfurt, while Eintracht is currently sixth in the Bundesliga.
