As the French top club announced on Monday, they will have to do without superstar Neymar for the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old Brazilian is set to undergo surgery in the coming days for a sprained ankle and a ligament injury. Neymar will be out for three to four months.
The bad news reached the Parisians shortly before the important round of 16 second leg in the Champions League against FC Bayern Munich (Wednesday, 9:00 p.m. in the LIVE ticker), where PSG now have to turn a 0-1 deficit without Neymar in order to get promoted .
Neymar picked up the injury in the Ligue 1 game against Lille on February 19.
