After this meeting, a statement was published in which it is explained that there was an exhortation to act in unity and that it was recognized that the judges act responsibly and prudently, without this being confused with cowardice.
At a press conference, the president was questioned about this statement and the president reiterated his call for honest work.
“I do not know the statement, but you are absolutely free to do so. My point of view is that the recommendation of the judges must be that the Constitution be respected, but in an authentic way, not in the Porfirian style, that the Constitution was respected in form and was violated in substance.” express.

“And the recommendation is that they act honestly, that they impart justice, and although most lawyers disagree with me, I maintain that when you have to choose between law and justice, you have to decide for justice, that’s why it’s called Supreme Court of Justice, and it is not called the Supreme Court of Law.” mentioned the national president.
He added that this matter is something internalized in the behavior of judges and other authorities of the Judiciary “and is used as an excuse to try to justify acts of corruption such as releasing alleged criminals, such as unfreezing accounts as happened in the case of the Garcia Luna’s wife,” he emphasized.
