CDA Premium went to digital terrestrial television. Sounds interesting, right? The popular Polish VOD service can be received by owners of TV sets that support HbbTV as part of MUX-8. Of course, you also need an internet connection.
CDA Premium on digital terrestrial television
CDA Premium has just hit 86th position in the channel list HbbTV. In practice, this means that users of digital terrestrial television who use TV sets connected to the Internet can gain full access to the library of the popular VOD service without having to download a separate application. It is worth emphasizing here that the novelty concerns the eighth multiplex (MUX-8)which covers about 97% of the territory of Poland.
We are constantly developing the CDA Premium platform. Not only by acquiring licenses for new films and series, which are constantly expanding our library, but also in the field of expanding and improving the technical infrastructure and expanding our range and possibilities of reaching the viewer. Presence on multiplex eight, and thus access to millions of recipients of digital terrestrial television in Poland, is a great event for us.
Jarosław Ćwiek, President of the Management Board of CDA SA

Interestingly, CDA Premium is not the first VOD application to be included in the HbbTV standard. Users of digital terrestrial television have also been able to use for a long time TVP VOD, TVP Go, Polsat GO and Legia TV.
