Likhachev: there have been no arrivals at ZNPP in recent weeks, but the critical phase has not yet passed

The head of Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, said that the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP had not yet passed the critical phase.

“Until the critical phase has passed, the line of separation of troops passes simply in contact proximity to the nuclear power plant. The IAEA inspectors are talking about this, they hear explosions, they hear the echoes of the cannonade, ”he says. RIA News.

At the same time, Likhachev noted that in recent weeks, arrivals at the nuclear power plant have not been recorded, although there have been attempts by drones to enter the territory of the plant.

They were stopped by the security service, he added.

Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said that negotiations on the creation of a protective zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP are not going well.

According to him, Kyiv, apparently, is playing for time.

Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that Ukraine has not responded for the fifth month to the draft declaration submitted to it on the creation of a protective zone around the ZNPP.
