Karmento has slipped into the final of the Benidorm Fest 2023 after making everyone fall in love with Quiero y duelo, an ode to his Mancha roots. When the songs from the Eurovision pre-selection came to light, the one from Albacete went somewhat unnoticed, but not everything was said.
The only thing left was for the week of the festival to arrive, with its abundant rehearsals so that everything would go live, so that the artist began to apply as a very serious candidate to be present at the gala on Saturday, February 4. The singer-songwriter has focused her performance using a minimal part of the stage, in which she has recreated the field of her land.
Through a play of light and shadow, he has winked at his family and his origins. And already, as a finishing touch, towards the end of the show, her choir has joined to sing with her the characteristic “lololo” of the theme. This set design has been carried out by Javier Pageo, who staged Rayden last year, and Ana Almenara has designed Toledo’s costumes.
