The head coach of the club of the Russian Premier League (RPL) “Krasnodar” Vladimir Ivic told what scheme his team will play.
“The philosophy of the club is a 4-3-3 scheme. How it will be in practice – 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1, will depend on the quality of the players in specific positions, on many things. I like to play four defenders, ”- declared Ivic on the air of the Krasnodar YouTube channel.
He admitted that he had been using a five-back scheme for the past six months.
“But it was because of the characteristics of the players. I believe that we have players to play in four defenders, I will stick to this tactic, ”concluded Ivic.
Ivic led the Krasnodar team on 4 January. The Serbian signed a contract with the Russian club for two years.
“Krasnodar” according to the results of 17 rounds of the RPL with 25 points, takes eighth place in the table. St. Petersburg “Zenith” (42 points) is the leader in the championship.
Earlier it was reported that “Rostov” and “Krasnodar” are interested in the Serbian striker RFS Andrey Ilich.
