American rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, could be denied a visa for anti-Semitic comments if he tries to visit Australia, he claimed the country’s Minister of Education in an interview with him on the Nine Network.

Applicants who had openly expressed anti-Semitic views were previously denied Australian visas, this member of the Government also pointed out. “I guess if you apply, you’ll have to go through the same process and answer the same questions as the others,” he added.

On January 23, it was rumored on social networks that the rapper was already in the country. They report that Ye was seen in a bakery in the city of Melbourne. However, the employee of this establishment denied that Ye had visited the premises.
