Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall

Mike Tindall released its new podcast this week, Mike Drop, and the first person invited was someone very special. The former rugby player welcomed his wife, Zara Tindallfor a conversation about their lives, their children, and plans for the future.

The couple has always shown to be very friendly, something that transpired during the conversation. However, when talking about their relationship, which has lasted for almost 20 years, Mike committed a ‘gaffe’which resulted in an embarrassing but also amusing moment.

“In 2012 you married a legend”he said, jokingly, referring to their marriage. “Who said that?”replied Zara, before adding: “Didn’t we get married in 2011?”. After the woman’s question, Mike closed his eyes, laughed and confirmed: “Yes, we got married [em 2011]!”he said, while Zara laughed too.

In fact, the two walked down the aisle on July 30, 2011, having said ‘I do’ three months after their cousins, the princes william and Kate, having also become husband and wife. The Princess’s Daughter’s Wedding A-N-A and the former player took place at Cannongate Kirk, in Edinburgh, a ceremony which was followed by a reception at Holyrood Palace.

Zara and Mike have three children together, Mianine years old, Lenaof four, and Lucasof one year.
