The head of the press service of “Spartak” Dmitry Zelenov said that the defenders Alexis Duarte and Tomas Tavares joined the team.

“Duarte and Tavares will join the team late tonight. Together with them, our midfielder Victor Moses arrives at the location – from this day on, he will recover and get in shape under the guidance of the coaching staff. Three footballers safely got from Moscow to Dubai, where the team is completing the first training camp, ”the press service quotes Zelenov as saying.

Duarte signed a contract with Spartak until the summer of 2027. For Cerro Porteño, the 22-year-old Paraguayan played 107 matches in which he scored one goal and made three assists. The player will sign a contract with the Moscow club until 2027.

Tavares’ contract runs until 2026 with an option to extend for a year. In May 2022, the 21-year-old Portuguese suffered a left knee injury while on loan at Basel. He recently returned to training. On account of his 26 matches for Benfica and nine games for the youth national team of Portugal.

31-year-old Nigerian Moses was injured in the fourth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Ural. On August 17, he underwent surgery. Its recovery period is about six months.
