Concert of Ivan Urgant canceled in Moscow

The concert of Ivan Urgant (performs under the stage name Grisha Urgant) in Moscow has been cancelled. This was reported in the social networks of the artist.

The event was supposed to take place on February 2 at the Flacon plant. According to the announcement of the cancellation, it came as a “complete surprise to everyone.”

“We kindly ask you not to panic and despond and wait in an organized manner for the next concert,” Urgant wrote.

The concert was originally supposed to take place in October, but was rescheduled for February.

Ivan Urgant, on the very first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, spoke out against the war.

After the invasion, the author’s program “Evening Urgant” on Channel One was canceled along with other entertainment programs. Subsequently, some of them were returned to the air – but not “Evening Urgant”. The TV channel did not officially announce the termination of cooperation with the presenter.

The hero of Urgant did not appear in the next film of the New Year’s franchise “Christmas Trees”, which was released in December – although before that the character was present in all the previous eight films.
