“Battle of the Reality Stars”
Cult “Bachelor” Paul Janke is part of the new season
In the spring, “Battle of the Reality Stars” will start again on RTLzwei. Paul Janke is one of the celebrities who travel to Thailand for 50,000 euros.
The candidates for the fourth season “Battle of the Reality Stars” have been determined. Among the 23 stars who could follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Elena Miras (30) is Ur-“Bachelor” Paul Janke (41). This adds another format to the long list of his previous TV appearances.
Janke originally gained greater fame when he was looking for love as a bachelor in the RTL dome show “Der Bachelor” in 2012. He gave his last rose to PR consultant Anja Polzer in South Africa. Although the relationship lasted only a few months, he launched a reality TV career by participating in the format.
In 2014, the 41-year-old moved into the “Celebrity Big Brother” house as one of twelve prominent candidates, but had to admit defeat to crowd favorite Aaron Troschke (33) in the final. In 2018 he appeared as a candidate in the dome show “Bachelor in Paradise”, where he again looked in vain for a new love. In the past seasons of the format, the cult “Bachelor” stayed in the background: he mixed drinks for the candidates behind the bar and also gave them his love advice.
Janke is now moving to Thailand with his reality TV colleagues. There they compete in action and skill games for a prize money of 50,000 euros and the title “Reality Star 2023”. Cathy Hummels (34) will moderate the format again.
These are his competitors
Along with the “Bachelor” veteran, 22 other reality stars will move in. In addition to Janke, other ex-candidates from German dome formats plunge into the adventure: “Bachelor in Paradise” Casanova Serkan Yavuz (29), “Bachelor” candidate Eva Benetatou (30), “Bachelorette” candidate Lukas Baltruschat and “Temptation Island VIP” loser Emmy Russ (23) are there.
“Summer House of the Stars” winner Antonia Hemmer (22) already has experience with trash TV. Tim Sandt also took part in the said program with his partner Annemarie Eilfeld (32). Peggy Jerofke (46) was also in the RTL “summer house” with her ex-partner Steff Jerkel. Ingrid Pavic has already moved to the “Big Brother” house, as has Sascha Sirtl (45), who won the show back then. His twin brother, the “Cologne 50667” star Jay Sirtl (45), also faces the challenge. In addition, “Germany’s next top model” fame Sarah Knappik (36) will face her rivals.
Also present are “DSDS” winner Aneta Sablik (34) and Bernd Kieckhäben (32), who has also taken part in the music show. Uschi Hopf and Matthias Mangiapane (39) are known from the VOX program “Hot oder Schrott”. Manni Ludolf (60), who was seen with his family in “Die Ludolfs – 4 Brüder auf’m Schrottplatz”, also has experience with scrap.
DJane Giulia Siegel (48), singer Daisy Dee, singer Percival Duke (52), Reeperbahn king Daniel Schmidt, ex-soccer professional Nico “Patsche” Patschinski (46) and “Berlin – Tag & Nacht “-Star Jessica Sulikowski (29).
