British actress Esme Bianco and American musician Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Warner) have reached an out-of-court settlement in a sexual assault lawsuit filed in 2021, Rolling Stone reports.
“Miss Bianco has agreed to settle her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to continue her life and career,” actress lawyer Jay Elwanger told the publication. The singer’s defense also confirmed this.
Esme Bianco was among more than ten women who accused Marilyn Manson of sexual assault. She said that she met the musician in 2009 on the set of the video “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies”, where she was supposed to portray a victim of violence – but in the end she became her for real. However, after filming, Bianco began a relationship with Manson and she moved in with him. The actress claimed that the singer completely controlled her life, beat and humiliated her. Bianco ran away from Manson’s house after he once chased her with an axe.
In September 2021, a court dismissed one of the violence and death threats lawsuits filed against Marilyn Manson by an anonymous complainant (identified as Jane Doe in court documents). In addition to her and Esme Bianco, the musician was sued by his former assistant Ashley Walters and model Ashley Morgan Smithline.
