“I spent my money on other things…like a Prada handbag,” Vivian Tu, a woman who went on six dates a week for two years where men paid for the food, tells Elite Daily. For Vivian Tu, it was a way of saving money.

Vivian Tu, 28, advises others on how to save and invest — She is a financial expert and a millionaire. In one of his videos on Tik Tok, where he posts as “yourrichbff”, revealed enough controversial way to save: “When they say women can’t handle money, but you went on six dates a week to avoid paying for groceries” — she wrote.

“I didn’t buy groceries once between 2016 and 2018. I probably saved about $150 a week” — she added in the description under the video.

Netizens were divided — some thought it was a “genius” way to save money, others said her behavior was “unethical.”

“Not only for food”

In an interview with Elite Daily, however, he explains that “she didn’t start dating just for the food”. She started dating hoping to find someone to “click” with, but soon found that these encounters had more benefits, including straining its budget.

She realized that by going on dates, saved between $50 and $100. weekly. “I can go to a nice restaurant probably for free or I can spend my own money on food that I still have to cook and probably won’t taste as good” he adds. “Back then, I was trading stocks on Wall Street and making $95,000 a year, but my expenses were very high.” – says.

Worst date ever

It turned out this way saved 15.6 thous. hole. Part of that money became her savings, a fraction she invested, and the rest she spent on a Prada purse. Now Vivian Tu admits they are “more strategic ways to save money” and warns that such an approach can backfire on us in character “bad karma”.

The woman also described worst date from that period, she recalls listening to the man she dated earn for 90 minutes, and then she was asked to payment split bill.
