Milan, with 3 Belgian substitutes, gets a painful blow from Lazio

It hasn’t been going well in the red-black part of Milan lately with an elimination in the cup, the loss in the super cup against Inter and loss of points in their own competition.

Coach Pioli already seemed to have one foot out, and Lazio may have given him the final push towards the exit tonight. It was a painful evening for the visitors who received a first blow from Milinkovic-Savic after just 4 minutes. Lazio even went into half time with a double lead after another goal from Zaccagni.

Things turned square for the Milanese and on the hour Pioli drew the Belgian card: Origi, Saelemaekers and De Ketelaere were allowed to come in together. Only Aster Vranckx had to stay on the bench. Unfortunately, the Belgian contribution did not change anything about the party.

After Alberto’s eleven meter in minute 67, the game was completely over. Anderson’s 4-0 only made the defeat even more painful.

Milan remains second in the standings, but the title seems impossible. It is already 12 points behind leader Napoli.
